Review on πŸ”Œ Carter P4389: Finding Optimal Performance with In-Line Electric Fuel Pump by Jeremy Tyson

Hello Carter! - Electric fuel pumps

What the heck happened to Carter? This thing that pumps gas is the only happiness this thing has given me. The electronics are complete junk. I had to get inside the rubber fittings and bend them slightly to get satisfactory contact. Even then I had to build a support that would put pressure on them or they would just fall off. Second, three complete disassemblies of the unit were required to fix the leak on the pump discharge side. Even now, I'm not sure the whole damn thing won't split in half if I have to tighten it any further. If this thing doesn't burn my car, I'll be shocked. This is not what I expected after purchasing another Carter fuel pump and you should check it out!
