What do I like about it? I like the size and weight of the Yongnuo 40mm. It's very light, like other pancake lenses; Nikon is missing something. Yes, it looks like plastic, but I don't care as long as it works well enough. What I do not like? Relatively slow to focus, even after a firmware update. It's okay, but don't expect to capture a fast-moving subject with this lens. It also doesn't cope well with dark environments. Compared to my Nikkor 50mm 1.8G, the 40mm can only keep up in good light. I have to admit that this product is not as bad as I thought it would be. Although I wouldn't recommend it for professional photographers. But for those who want to travel light and aren't picky about their gear, I think the 40mm is worth a look. Personally, you get what you pay for. And for less than 100β¬ I have nothing to complain about. It's a good lens for the money, but if you don't mind spending more on, say, a 35mm f/1.8 Prime, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.
