Review on Olympus M. Zuiko Digital ED 45mm f1.8 (Silver) Lens for Micro 4/3 Cameras - International Version: Enhanced Photography Experience, No Warranty by Adisorn Soon ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best thing I've ever used, I recommend it to everyone!

I shoot mostly now only on him, I pushed the other portraits into the box away. It conveys volume / perspective well, the pictures are airy, it's nice to look at. An excellent 7-blade diaphragm, which gives an almost perfect circle at running values of 2-2.2-2.5-2.8-3.2-3.5, then it’s already slightly “rhombit”, but it’s not so important there. The circles are perfect, even around the perimeter of the frame and not lentil like some. This is the second lens after the panablin20 that you want to shoot everything with. Compared to the rangefinder Nocton 40, it is sharper on the same apertures, it doesn’t limp when open, it washes the background stronger and “nobler”, better circles on covered holes, slightly different colors (no worse and no better). The price is high compared to SLR lenses, but compared to other mirrorless lenses, it is quite on the level. Solid, technologically advanced, high-quality product.

Pros
  • Excellent portraiture, amazing clarity in the open, accurate color reproduction, silent fast focusing, very interesting blurring, beautiful, does not double.
Cons
  • The bayonet mount is a little tight, I would like a smaller MDF (it has half a meter). The diameter of the bayonet made it possible to make the lens thicker and put the built-in retractable lens hood there like on watering cans, it would be very convenient, but they made the glass size 1,8

With its pros. Size, weight, aperture. Good bokeh. Different cons: When shooting, slow autofocus, or maybe I'm picking on.

Price. Not much inferior to more expensive counterparts. I recommend.
