I wanted absolute comfort in these pants - and they are. In order to get this level of comfort, I had to ask for a very large size, knowing that I would probably have to hem my pants. "Extra Large" is exactly what I asked for and got - a plain hem on both legs is exactly what I gave them. These pants were easy to hem and very comfortable, plus they were as artistically beautiful as pictured on the Revain website. Also no thin material. They do well in temperate northern climates at this time of year.
