I think most FR-S/BRZ/86 owners know that really lousy feeling of having to "force" 1-2 gears before it shifts Transmission heats up. This eliminates that completely and makes the switch more accurate. This mod is in my opinion the best of all the mods I've made. I have this + TRD Shortshifter + MTec springs with a 470g weighted shift knob and it's amazing. It's very accurate, but maybe a little less smooth than the S2000/Type-R switch. This creates a high-pitched gear hum that is transmitted into the passenger compartment. It's minimal at cruising speed, but definitely gets louder the higher the rpm goes. To be honest it sounds amazing. I have Tomei UEL headers and a resonating front pipe and the rest of my exhaust is stock. It's a relatively quiet setup, but that high-pitched howl under acceleration sounds amazing with it.
