Two of these mufflers have been on my GT 03 Mustang for about 10 months. These are VERY loud mufflers. If you haven't read the rest of this review, that's pretty much the gist. I've paired them with an off-road H-pipe for the past 5 months. I'm a young man and I've always dreamed of the "loud muscle car" clichรฉ. I finally got a used Mustang GT, put this and an off-road pipe on it, and I had the car of my dreams. My two elderly neighbors hate me even though I drive as carefully as possible. These mufflers WILL draw attention, mostly unwanted attention from neighbors and law enforcement. I haven't had any legal problems with these silencers so far. I want to emphasize the last two words of this sentence. Running them with an off-road center tube (I'm sure most people who buy them will want to do this) is illegal in most states; However, mufflers are actually legal just where I live. If you buy them for daily use, you'd better choose the OEM middle pipe. They gave me quite a bad headache even on 1 hour drives since their loudest point in my car is between 2100-2200 rpm (where my car is 75mph). If you are looking for a classic cam muffler with a deep, LOUD sound for your American V8, this is the muffler I would recommend - without a doubt. They hold up well, are inexpensive, have a little freer flow than stock mufflers, and most importantly, they sound incredible when paired with the Mustang's 4.6-liter V8's off-road H-pipe. The only other product I would ever recommend for this type of application was the Flowmaster Super 44, similar sound but much quieter.
