Review on 🐠 Exo Terra Screen Cover for Hinged Door: 60 Breeder/75 Gallon - An Ideal Fit for Aquarium Enthusiasts! by Sarah Zepeda

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Make sure you know what devices you have for compatibility!

This is a decent screen. But it is very weak when working with strong light. My main complaints are: 1) I have a Repti Zoo double stand for my mercury vapor lights that attaches to my 75 gallon tank. I had to cut a piece out of the frame for the screen to use or clip on. The bracket sits above the screen (making it impossible to remove.) 2) The hinges are actually a downside, no matter which side I lift, they're going to hit me with $75 lightbulbs if I'm not careful. 3) They bend fairly easily. If you're using tank mounted pendant lights like I am, this screen won't work without major modifications to the frame. It would be a better product if it wasn't articulated. Also, I've learned that mixing Repti-Zoo, Exo-Terra, and Aqueon brands is a disaster. If you're using lightbulbs attached to screens, you should be fine. Just for what I expected it didn't come close.
