
I've bought a lot of K&N stuff over the years and have been happy with my purchases - I fitted one on my Jetta Turbo a few months ago and was happy, although it's ridiculously loud it fits the box is deformed when factory fitted - the header is too long causing the flex pipe to buckle in front of the MAF - there are no water drainage holes in the body (I drilled a few) - there is no proper way to connect to the factory intake (I have that Pinched the end of the flex pipe and tucked it in. The size and route of the inlet is confusing and I can't believe it's more efficient than the standard pipe The inlet pipe at the bottom of the box should barely be in the box or the filter will cut in. I suspect too That said, the power increase claimed is general, not specific to this setup.On the other hand, it's much quieter than my Jetta aspirated air coming from outside of the engine compartment - has a nice big filter.
