Perfect - haven't tried any of the $100+ options yet and not sure why I will now. This thermometer worked right out of the box and was incredibly easy to use - you literally open it up and stick it in. Yesterday I participated in my first BBQ competition and put it to good use. I took 2nd place in the Ribs category and 1st place in the Pulled Pork category! Perfect temperatures thanks to this great little thermometer from GDealer!
