Useful for travel or home
I use this at home so I can connect a DVI monitor to a HDMI cable. Now you can buy a dedicated DVI to HDMI cable, but HDMI cables are easier to find and use. A 20 ft. HDMI for example is both cheap and easy to find, so then you can just pop this onto one end.This adapter is also useful to travel with; as you may encounter displays which don't accept HDMI (my hotel TV had DVI input however. so I could watch my own movies instead of paying outrageous rental fees to the cable company or hotel chain. As you expect, it's very small and light.
- Worked exactly as it is supposed to, just plug it in and it works.
