Takes a massive and clunky DVI setup and reduced it in my case to a couple ultra slim hdmi cables. Works great at 1920x1080. I have a setup that involves two monitors that connect through an hdmi switch to two computers and each computer has a mini display port that has an adapter to convert to hdmi. No compatibility issues. I can confirm it works with Gigabyte Brix bxi5-4570r, a second brik of a different model number, raspberry pi 3, Surface pro 3, and a second gen chromecast. Likely wouldn't

Works. The quality isn't good. The plastic feels cheap. The screws on one side was not perfectly aligned. But good value.

I use this at home so I can connect a DVI monitor to a HDMI cable. Now you can buy a dedicated DVI to HDMI cable, but HDMI cables are easier to find and use. A 20 ft. HDMI for example is both cheap and easy to find, so then you can just pop this onto one end.This adapter is also useful to travel with; as you may encounter displays which don't accept HDMI (my hotel TV had DVI input however. so I could watch my own movies instead of paying outrageous rental fees to the cable company or hotel…

Just what I needed when I had a DVI connection on the computer and an HDMI port on the TV. I noticed one very pleasant thing. I thought I'd have to get speakers because DVI doesn't carry sound like HDMI does, but somehow, I'm getting good quality sound from this connection. Awesome!

The Cablelera HDMI Female to DVI Male adapter works exactly as intended. The quality of the build is solid. One thing that you should expect is that you will NOT receive sound from HDMI this way. That is not what it's intended for and just won't work. I didn't need sound though, as this is directly connected to a tv/pc and I have a surround sound hooked to the PC itself. Overall, this product is great and a bargain for the price. I'd buy another if I indeed needed it. Thanks.

I don't remember ordering this.I do remember using it, though.I think. Anyhow, it must have worked. May not support all audio and video formats.
