Good tool but poor gift choice

It's not for everyone, it's a terrible choice for "son's first screwdriver" or "fancy useful gift" and it's a terrible choice for those who have direct access to the screw directly, as usual. Anyone who could grab the thing with a regular hand screwdriver when removing the side panel of a computer tower, for example. It is also totally unsuitable for the precise disassembly of small electronics such as laptops, phones or tablets. The tool is a good weight and grip, and the bits that come with it seem to be of pretty good quality. Unlike standard screwdrivers, this is useless in situations where your other hand isn't free, as you use it to apply pressure to the back of the screwdriver while applying torque to the bit, or you seriously risk breaking the bit screw off. Head. Everything has its compromises, and it's clearly useful in places where other riders can't directly grab the fasteners. It's not a bad tool, it has limited utility and is probably useless to those who don't need it. If you are looking for gifts, I know it looks pretty, but you'd better let them buy it for themselves.

Pros
  • Very good value
Cons
  • Money box price
