Item is OK. As mentioned it's thin but I only want to use it for cooking so the thickness is good. My problem is that the reviews call it food and cooking and talk a lot about its use in the kitchen. And it may very well be made for that, but none of the packaging mentions that it was specifically sized or made for culinary use. I'm not sure if there is such a rating but it seems odd that it is advertised like this and then on the packaging only says "Good Life Helper" and "Biodegradable - Soft - Multipurpose" and "Cotton Yarn". " stands. "For this reason, I will always feel the need to give this yarn a good wash before using it for binding meat or other culinary projects.
