Lots of storage but not bulky

Have this crochet bag for on the go. I didn't want the ones that you have to slip over your wrist or the big ones that are bulky as I mostly want to use them when I'm at the playground/park with my kid. I basically wanted a regular wallet with a threaded hole and was hoping this wallet would fill the bill. I have to say that I am not disappointed with this wallet! It offers plenty of storage space without being bulky. Inside there is a large compartment and a smaller compartment for patch pockets. I plan to put my yarn in this compartment. I tucked in a ball of Craftsman Bernat with no problem. You can also use the larger yarn compartment and it will likely hold up to 100g skeins. But I use the larger compartment for my typical wallet items like a purse, keys, and even 16.9 ounces of water! On the outside you have two transparent welt pockets (one on each side) perfect for printed patterns. I use them for my hooks and concepts. The cons that make me deduct a star from my rating: The clasps on the handle are plastic, as are the hooks on the wallet to attach them to. I prefer metal for durability and plastic sometimes starts to creak, let's see if that happens over time. I'd also like at least one or two pencil pockets on the inside to tuck in hooks or a note pen. I would also appreciate a second, smaller inner pocket with a zip for small items. Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase and can definitely recommend the wallet.
