Review on ECOGARD XF10329 Engine Fuel Filter by Brett Jarvis

Revainrating 1 out of 5

This cheap chinese junk will cost you dearly.

Supposed to fit my 2013 X5 35D. Autoshop installed as it looked the same. After 2 hours I pulled and the diesel leaked everywhere, the car died, I had to pay for a rollback, then pay for a new filter, OEM this time, not chinese junk. Then pay for the labor again for a new one. Installation takes an hour as it is in the engine. Upon inspection, the inner end of the plastic fitting that goes into the snap ring is not the same as the OEM and it has exploded. A very costly lesson on buying Ecogard CHINA garbage. Never again!

Pros
  • Filter
Cons
  • Slightly Crumpled
