I originally bought these as drawers and removed them when I was distributing these drawers. Out of curiosity, I tried them on some of my closets and was surprised at how much I liked the look. They are durable and inexpensive. I saw another reviewer say they were weak but I compared them to another similar rod I replaced and they were at least 2mm thicker at the lip of the rod. I think once properly installed they look and feel as solid as any $10. They come with 3/8" black screws which will definitely make a difference when mounted on the front of a cabinet or drawer where the screws will be visible. board installation. I attached it to solid MDF and solid wood and the small screws that came with it held up quite well. I have already bought three times, so I can say that I recommend 5/5.
