As a small business owner/operator I find it difficult to manually close every wheel slot and headlight/taillight on my clean 9 inch buffer pad. So I decided to try them out. I've used them on wheels, taillights, headlights, rocker panels, A-pillars on the doors. etc. Advantages: you get into hard-to-reach places, which makes polishing the wheels a lot easier! Good quality pads (high density foam and natural lambswool) perfect for my purposes Cons: As they are used with my Dewalt drill I cannot adjust the speed as I can with my adjustable buffer. Of course I can work more slowly with the tension of the fingers, but holding a stable position is sometimes uncomfortable. I would like the ends of the foam pads to be a bit wider for better control of the gaps. The price is a bit high. more than 7-9" pad is not suitable for.
