Ideal for grilling Chinese-style kebabs. The rotation cooks the food evenly and there are fewer oil drips that can cause fire. The coal ash pan is easy to clean. When I'm done, I just take it out and rinse it out with a garden hose. The space between each skewer is a bit small, so don't make big, thick skewers or they will rub against each other when you turn them. Do not overfill the charcoal, only fill to the level of the charcoal pan, leaving some space between the ends of the motor housing to keep it cool. Oh, this works with regular store-bought bamboo skewers! In general I like it.
