Review on πŸš€ Enhance Vehicle Performance with Energy Suspension 16.1111G Motor Mount Insert Set by Mike Cody

They do NOT fit standard brackets! Purple shakes worse than solids!

I bought these as a cheaper, quicker and easier temporary repair for broken fasteners on a 2001 Honda Civic 1.7mt, the app specifically named this part with a number on the Energy Suspension website. I've had good luck with the polypropylene mounts on the Honda Prelude so I figured this would work well. When I went to install them, the front bracket fitted fairly well, but I found that they were CLEARLY molded from a completely different rear bracket. The back panel had to be trimmed massively to even partially fit - it's still not tight and I'm not happy with how poorly it fits. I had to cut and drill 4 or 5 different places as the bracket is definitely NOT the same, just a slightly similar shape. After installation I thought the car would shake violently to the point where the vibrations would shake the dashboards and my dash panel. varies by 1/8 inch at idle. It was very easy to hear outside the car and in the distance how much the car was shaking and this car drives very well. I also have a fairly race ready Nissan 240sx with one piece polyurethane engine mounts and it vibrated MUCH less than this one! The rear wheel drive 240sx only has 2 brackets while the front wheel drive Honda Civic has 4 brackets, 2 of which have been reinforced and never replaced. The front panel should be minimal in terms of its discomfort. I can't even see my rear view mirror. I contacted ES and detailed my listings, but I don't think they even shared it. I wonder how many bad reviews does it take?
