I think this shampoo cleans and conditions well but as other reviewers have noted it has a distinct odor. I would say it smells good. Strange is the best word I can think of. Not quite male, and not what I would call female. Something like musk, maybe from my father's shave. I can live with that, but I won't buy it again. You may like it, but it's not for me.
