The fuel pump works perfectly, I installed it in a 99 year old Subaru. Yes, the pump is a little shorter than stock, but it has the same fuel rail pressure as stock before it failed. It took half an hour to get dressed from start to finish. I reused the stock filter as it was still good and went further into the tank. I also reused the old rubber isolator instead of the one that came with the kit because I don't like how the one that came with the kit handles the entire pump. Overall, this pump is the same quality you would pay over $100 for at the parts store. If you have a Subaru you don't need to connect this pump to the old wiring, the factory plug fits right into this pump.
