Does what it's supposed to do

I had a cheaper OBD scanner that could read and clear codes and that was all I needed but the other day it had expired and i started looking for something better. This scanner fits on the ticket. It looks for more than just error codes, and it does it pretty well. The only bad thing I can say about this device is that when I went online to update it, I found that I didn't have an application to unzip the RAR format file that contains the updater. It was a bit annoying but I found a program that made it pretty easy but then Windows Security didn't like the update link and kept telling me it wasn't secure and could damage my computer. My Norton security suite had no problems with it so I downloaded and installed the file and it worked fine. I'm guessing the company didn't pay Windows (Microsoft) to give them a clean bill of health. It took about 3 minutes to update the device and it works perfectly. Definitely worth the money I paid for it.
