This device has its pros and cons: you have to deal with glare and make frequent adjustments to your document to ensure what you scan or capture is flat, but overall it does what it should and produces decent quality images. If you're looking for something to scan things with, maybe a little faster than your more traditional options, or you need something that has the added benefit of being able to use it for demo videos or the like, then this is a good way to go. I should mention that glare can be a constant struggle so be prepared deal with it and experiment with a few lighting situations until you find one that works. what is right for you. So far I've been scanning magazines and newspapers and experimenting with light coming from two different sources and from different angles in different combinations depending on what highlights I get from my documents. Luckily, the various built-in LED settings you can use offer many customizable options, so I'm just experimenting with different scenarios until I find one that gives the best results (least glare and reflections). Overall it can be a little annoying, but it doesn't spoil everything. This can be dealt with with a little patience and determination. The rest of the camera quality is pretty good, but not impressive. The images are fairly detailed, but nowhere near what my previous Epson scanner produced. That being said, they definitely fall into the "serviceable" range for personal use, which is all I'm really looking for to help me keep an endless supply of newspapers, magazines, and a few other items like personal notes, etc organize I am however very happy with the results. It serves exactly the purpose I bought it for, so I'm very happy with it. It captures a great deal of detail and you can even read fine print, which you might not expect, making it a solid camera. Glare is indeed one of the main downsides alongside somewhat mediocre image quality, although I certainly wouldn't call the image quality bad either. Now I will talk about the benefits of the product. The software is very good and allows to export various useful image and document formats. However, it's still somewhat basic. So expect to use other software like Adobe's ruler when attempting to stitch or further edit your results. But just like the hardware, the software checks all fields, covers all the basics and does what it is supposed to. There are multiple options for viewing, managing, creating and exporting your files, as well as some handy features that allow you to email or print your images, as well as video and barcode scanning capabilities. You can easily view the names of your final image files as well as their location on your local file system, making it much easier to manage your final PDF or image. I think it's quite a tedious process to export a long PDF, which I find a bit unfortunate, but I guess that's to be expected. Well that was my review. If you are a little flexible in your product requirements and have some patience with its quirks and simple problems, then this is a handy product that can increase the speed, efficiency, and organization of your workflow. The price of $180 seems fair to me - not necessarily too high or too low. For the price I wouldn't mind better image quality or no glare issues, But at the same time, incredibly useful and intuitive software, impressive hardware design, great zoom capabilities, and advanced features make up for it. other possible disadvantages. This is where the scanner makes its money and offers something that many other products simply cannot. To me, that's really what you're buying this product for and I'm glad I did. I have no regrets about my purchase and am sure I will use iCONIS to organize books, magazines, receipts, product instructions, warranties and more to declutter my daily routine and bring clarity to my life. Ideal! I've enjoyed it so far and would recommend it without hesitation - just bring a little patience and learn to live with the quirks. and it's an amazing product.
