I bought this monitor with two things in mind: more screen real estate for photo editing and better performance. It performs these functions to the highest level compared to my previous 24 inch screen and I prefer one monitor over two 24 inch monitors just to have it all. on 1 screen with no dividing line in the middle. The curve isn't noticeable (and that's a plus) unless you're specifically looking for it - nothing that comes into play in normal use. The main usage is photo editing, video viewing and web surfing. While there are some other sleeker monitors out there, in my opinion there are few monitors with a curved profile and size at this price point that look much better. The only thing that worries me is the stability of the monitor. The base remains firmly mounted, but the weight of the monitor itself allows for some bouncing as it can flex/move around the mounting base, which can creak and become irritating if the table/surface it is placed on is not firm is. Not the end of the world, but for this price I expected more. Pros: - Large screen area for better performance - Good brightness, true colors, sharpness Cons: - Not as stable as I expected - Price
