I have no doubt that this is a perfectly working product because I used it for a while until my printer died and I got a new connector with built in networking . However, even with a good knowledge of the topic, the setup was not particularly intuitive. That's too much to ask for most home users! The problem arose when we wanted to reuse it a few years later. Nowhere in the documentation or software is it described how to factory reset and reboot, so a forgotten admin password was a problem that seemed insurmountable. Pressing the recessed factory reset switch with the end of a paperclip did nothing, nor did powering on the device with the factory reset pressed. In the end, persistence paid off: to achieve a factory reset, press and hold the factory reset button for at least 10 seconds. The Power LED then starts flashing quickly and the device restarts in reset mode. It was then reconfigured and reprinted within minutes.
