Was easy to install as a replacement for a unit I had that was struck by lightning. A cool discovery was the auxiliary port on the back. There are three coaxial connectors. One of them is the cable from the antenna. The second is the food line from the CATV campsite. The third connection is an output to another coaxial output. I used an auxiliary connector to install a new coax board elsewhere in my RV. Works great, lots of power. If the light does not work when installed, check the fuse in the RV panel. I touched the wires and tripped. This product uses direct current, but make sure the power and ground wires are connected to the correct places. Also, I used a wrench to securely connect the coax cable to the device. With all the vibrations of travel, I wanted the coax connections to remain secure over time.
