Not suitable. Some people mentioned it in reviews but I bought it anyway. It is not designed to hold logs. Not deep enough, not flexible enough to push through, just doesn't fit. I've changed half a dozen car rounds over the years, sometimes reusing, sometimes replacing. Too bad I didn't throw away the old ones because they don't work. Now I go to ebay and buy bmw originals.Update. Didn't have to go to ebay. You can get genuine BMW parts for about the same price on Amazon Prime. Easily search and find deep flexible grommets, usually white or translucent. Skip those short hard plastic bushings that don't fit or work.
