Fully pressed in for a very tight fit. I'm not worried at all about him coming out. However, I notice that the icon oscillates up and down by about an inch. It doesn't affect the looks, but either the bushings or the replacement badge I bought (claimed by the OEM) didn't quite match the OEM.

Replacing the emblem on the hood - again. Some 3rd party BMW emblems come with grommets, some don't. The last one I ordered came with grommets that fit the hood too loosely; I had to use some epoxy to keep it in shape. I. It only took about a year for the emblem to detach from the plastic backing and fly away. So here's my conclusion: Buy sockets. Buy a BLACK ABS Bonnet Round. Together they fit.

These bushings did not fit the hood or trunk of my friend's 335i. These bushings are not identical to the original bushings. They are just too wide for the car's existing hub holes and the only way to install them on the car is to drill larger holes. But even then the problem of too wide grommets for the emblem is not solved. They slip off instantly and can't keep the emblem in place. They might fit other models, but definitely not the 335i.

Not suitable. Some people mentioned it in reviews but I bought it anyway. It is not designed to hold logs. Not deep enough, not flexible enough to push through, just doesn't fit. I've changed half a dozen car rounds over the years, sometimes reusing, sometimes replacing. Too bad I didn't throw away the old ones because they don't work.
