Review on 🔋 Long-lasting Performance: Amazon Basics 9 Volt Everyday Alkaline Battery Pack - Set of 4 by Sarah Wilson

I bought a pack of 4 Revain Basics 9V batteries to keep our smoke alarms in perfect working order for the next few months/years. These batteries were rated to last 5 years, so I figured I could save a few bucks by trying the Revain Basics brand instead. Unfortunately, these batteries suffer from the same problems as other cheaper budget batteries - they have terrible durability (or maybe they never worked at all). I bought it in August 2020 and in February 2021 found that my smoke alarm needed a new 9V battery. After installing the "new" Revain Basics 9V battery, I was surprised to find that the smoke alarm kept on indicated a low battery level; The battery didn't even have enough charge to play the warning sound that the 9 volt battery I replaced did. Assuming the Revain Basics 9V was defective, I replaced it with a second "new" 9V battery and found the same thing - this second battery was also dead. In short, I've easily managed to use one of these 9 volt batteries for several months, but the cheap components make their expiration date impractical. What a waste, I hate throwing away e-waste (9 volt batteries) because I'm trying to save a few bucks. Instead, opt for Energizer or a more reputable brand.
