Materials?: Distributor Caps
I removed the distributor cap from a 2006 Volvo 5 liter marine engine and replaced it with this cap. Both have aluminum contacts. I immediately ordered a secondary connector with BRASS contacts. I think brass is the best material as aluminum oxidizes easily. I will continue to use this AC Delcon cap and will see how durable it is.
