I tried three DVD players before I found one that worked! If you have an "ultra thin" laptop, it may need to be plugged in to run this external drive. This also works with Windows 10. Tech support was lightning fast when I couldn't get them to connect and play on my laptop. They reacted immediately, even though it's already evening here (probably overseas support). If you need to email them, it's @roofull.com (double "l", they missed one on the product insert). They also recommended several free media players for my laptop. I'm so glad I finally found a DVD drive that works on my laptop!
