Review on 🎨 12ml Tube Set of New Water Marbling Paint with 12 Colors - Complete Marble Kit by Hannah Curi

This was a really fun project for my kids and we were very happy with the results. The paint/ink worked well enough, but I'm not sure I'd recommend it unless you know what you're doing and know it's what you want. They are based on oil and work on the principle that oil has a lower density than water. They have an incredibly strong oily smell. Even though we did it outside, the whole house stunk. It was like working with gasoline. I'm not entirely sure if they are non-toxic and that worries me. Some of us got dizzy and nauseous again, even though we worked outside in good ventilation. While the results were pretty cool, it does take a long time to dry. Maybe it never dries? Think of oil or food stains that remain on paper or fabric even if they haven't cured after 24 hours. We've worked with paper and fabric, if you paint a hard surface and then coat it with sealer or something, it might be a different story. We made an incredible mess and had a lot of fun, but I think I'll go the water-based route with carrageenan and acrylic paint next time, at least it's easy to clean and I can feel safe because it's non-toxic.
