This is an identical replacement for the Johnson door rails which have been in our house for 20 years. Other reviewers commented that they are solid but the metal base plate is strong. Nylon splints cannot click for long. Imagine pushing against the door or households with children knocking on the door, the nylon rail inside the cabinet breaks easily. Look at any neighbor's closet in this standard unit and you'll find that the innermost nylon rail is broken. Of the three nylon splints, the middle one is twice as thick as the two outer ones. So if you think you can buy one of these mounts and remove/have 3 spare nylon rails to replace that flimsy, innermost cabinet (and ditch the metal base), you actually only get 2 nylon rails. After all, the screws are only ¾ inch long; The length is not enough for carpet floors, but for hardwood floors. Hope this helps someone.
