The big question everyone wants to know is how thick is it? One of the best reviews claims that precision calipers were used to compare this to the Reynolds Heavy Duty Foil. (Note the review is from 2015.) I don't have a caliper, but it clearly isn't the same thickness as the RHDF, so you don't need an exact tool to say they aren't equivalent. The product or label may have changed in the last 5 years. But I have to agree with the numerous recent reviews that have stated that it's not difficult. However, I've been using this for a month now and I'm glad I have a 24 inch wide slide. I use it to line the drip tray when grilling and is fine for that purpose. But when wrapping meat on the bone I use RHDF. The packaging is very good quality and arrived in excellent condition in a decent shipping carton. supports the blade very well As the roll is quite heavy you will probably want to find a permanent storage place that is easily accessible to tear the foil off if needed.
