Review on Enhance Your TiVo Experience with 📺 the TiVo VOX Remote: Voice Search, Black (C00301) by John Boyce

I have a 2015 Tivo Roamio OTA. Was considering buying a newer OTA model but found this remote with an update (Tivo Experience). I like the addition of a skip button instead of just using the channel up. The voice recognition seems fairly responsive, although I haven't used it much yet. The removed response seems to be a bit delayed compared to the old UI. The upgrade was very easy, just plug in the dongle and follow the included instructions to pair the new remote and initialize the upgrade. It must have taken 10-15 minutes. Please note that you may need to manually adjust the audio features via the Tivo audio settings menu to use the volume controls. As for Tivo Experience: I really like the new user interface. It's modern, streamlined, looks good, not so clunky. This is definitely a big change from the original UI and it may take some users some time to learn how to navigate as it is not as intuitive as the old version. A minor annoyance is that once you delete an entry you've been viewing, you won't go back to the folder. Instead, you'll return to the main menu and need to go back to "My Shows" and whatever folder you were in. Maybe there is a setting to change that. I also like that the shows are grouped from oldest to newest (top to bottom). You don't have to scroll all the way down to find the oldest series. I'm still fumbling with the settings and trying out the new UI, but so far so good.
