Review on Giro Montane Helmet Matte Outpack by Adam Krueger

Old skier. wearing a helmet for the first time. After skiing last year and seeing more people wearing helmets than not, I thought maybe I was missing something. I decided to buy something I like and can wear comfortably all day, otherwise it's a waste of money. There's a tether (like the high-end Giro bike helmets) that allows you to fine-tune the "tightness" around your bowler hat, and a vertical adjustment where the strap crosses the back of your head for ease of fore/aft adjustment tilt) This helmet worked great. felt great and felt very comfortable the whole day. On warm days I pulled out the ear cups and opened up the vents to keep my head cool, and on colder days I used the ear cups and left the vents closed. There wasn't much of a difference between open and closed, but I thought there was something about it that let the heat escape when opened and stored when closed. I definitely recommend it to everyone. Safe is safe, feeling good and not looking bad.
