Got this for my son for Christmas

He is new to snowboarding but is heading to New England this month to break in his helmet at a snowboard party on his birthday weekend in New Hampshire. He was thrilled when he unwrapped this gift. Very nicely made and easily adjustable in size and fit to the head. 2 fingers up!

Not much to say here

They are very light and I only remember them when I have to take my glasses off. The vents are easy to close and open when you're hot or cold, but I didn't have much need of it even in different conditions. Someone here said that they are cold in this helmet - I didn't have such a problem. Very nice, very good.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Almost never

Lightweight and durable

This helmet is much lighter than some other helmets I have tried. I also like that you can open and close the vents for more convenience. I don't feel as restricted as with a heavier helmet and feel like I can turn my head a little faster with this helmet than others I've tried. I took a few hits with this helmet and it protected my head and didn't break/crack/kink. (Those were really hard hits.) I bought the blue one and it looks exactly like the picture. Good product.

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • I have nothing wrong with it, everything is fine

Stylish and sporty ski helmet

My first ski season with a helmet. I found it comfortable and easy to adjust. The small knob on the back of the helmet should be adjusted without gloves. This is a stylish and sporty helmet. My only objection concerns design details; The vertical vent opening/closing lever is located behind and to the right of the helmet. I've noticed other Giro helmets with a centrally located, almost flush closure that's unobtrusive and more aesthetically pleasing. However, I recommend the helmet.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Disappear

Good bucket! for cycling

Old skier. wearing a helmet for the first time. After skiing last year and seeing more people wearing helmets than not, I thought maybe I was missing something. I decided to buy something I like and can wear comfortably all day, otherwise it's a waste of money. There's a tether (like the high-end Giro bike helmets) that allows you to fine-tune the "tightness" around your bowler hat, and a vertical adjustment where the strap crosses the back of your head for ease of fore/aft adjustment tilt)…

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
