Perfect for my pickling use
later I like the fact that it comes in two pieces which makes it easier to use in my smaller mason jar. I am more than willing to order another set to get the weight I need for my other pickle jar which is larger. I like the fact that it's glass and not ceramic which can probably absorb the taste of the brine juice. I also use it to smoothen other foods like tofu.
