I bought this to use on the outside edge of the slide. Rubber roof replaced. Good: Adhesion - seems to adhere well. I worked with new EDPM and a freshly cleaned surface that offers optimal adhesion conditions. Has a matte finish versus glossy, some have good and bad rollers. It's nice to have an open edge, but the axle sticks out far enough that you can't get close to the finish. BAD plastic backing. It's so thin that it breaks when you take it off. So you have to stop and take the piece left behind. At 28 feet (two runs down the slide) this happened at least 6 times. So I had to peel off the rest of the backing while being careful not to touch the excess adhesive.
