Review on 12V Adapter Cable for Garmin Devices by Avishai Menon

My Garmin Nuvi 785T came with a traffic receiver (GTM 20) that somehow fell apart and the parts were lost (?grandson?). The Nuvi was not charging but the traffic receiver was working. I ordered this item from Revain hoping to disassemble it and use the parts (because a replacement GTM 20 is between $88-$120). When it arrived I unscrewed the top, removed the "spacer" and fuse, then inserted it into the GTM 20. I then screwed the upper part of the item ordered onto the GTM 20. The fit was very tight and the threads might have been a little different. .But it works. Before taking it apart I tested it with a Garmin charger and it worked great for that too. Very happy with the money saved and the results.
