Review on 📱 Bracketron PHV-202-BL Grip-iT GPS and Mobile Device Holder - Black by Virgilio Feliciano

I've bought 4 GWM-262 mounts and 1 PHV-202 mount in the last two years and the device mount didn't last long - I've given up. Either the gears on the clamp fail or one of the clamps breaks and I'm not rough on the device. Not sure if the sun is making the plastic brittle or if putting the phone back into the unit will cause it to crash. In winter, the suction cup on the GWM-262s fails and the mount falls off; almost impossible to put back on the windshield. This is especially great when you're driving with your map program and it falls on the floorplate - a nice distraction. I live in DC so it's not like Alaska or North Dakota where temperatures get extreme. Bottom line: I wouldn't recommend buying either bracket if you want some of the latter. It just doesn't exist.
