Review on πŸ›οΈ phil&teds Traveller Crib, Black - 31x46x24.8 Inch - Pack of 1 by Laura Valenzuela

Awesome for on top of soft carpet, otherwise add padding!

Just used for a family trip with our 9 month old, who slept great! For Grandma's house the included air mattress pad worked fine but for camping he couldn't get comfortable on the pad alone, so we added the Milliard Mini Crib Foam Mattress Topper which was perfect! When you look at the measurements online it seems like it will be a couple of inches too big, but the soft foam squishes up a little bit to actually fit perfectly with no gapping at the edges, and it also didn't move around when he did to fold up or anything scary like that. Our little dude slept with his head and face against the side several times during the trip and didn't seem to mind the mesh, and could breathe fine through it. He is also learning to stand and pulled himself up to stand with the help of the rail several times, and it seemed very sturdy to support him. He actually didn't mind playing in it a couple of times because it was fun to stand up, then fall on his bum, repeat. :)We found it to be pretty easy to assemble, though it does take some time. However, it's TOTALLY worth the time to assemble if you are flying or have limited travel space. It's so much smaller than a Pack-n-Play, and in fact it did fit inside my (rather large) duffel bag along with all of my clothes which I carried on to the plane for the flight there. It's really light too, and once you've assembled it once and know where things go it's really easy but does still take a few minutes. Conclusion: We love it and will never use another travel crib, BUT one star removed because we did have to supplement the padding of the mattress and it was pretty hard to find something that would fit. Feedback for Phil & Ted: Please offer an additional foam pad that fits the crib!
