Avoid the Netgear brand, also recommended by my ISP technician with 10+ years experience!

I bought this product because I lost the signal in one part of my house and I also have Wi-Fi 6. After receiving this product and activating it with my ISP, the signal on this modem often drops every 7-8 minutes (yes I checked the log of this modem and it says every time the internet is connected and the internet is down ), but my 2-year-old modem router (Motorola) works fine. Their tech support from India is a joke and they have no idea how to fix the problem. They wanted me to pay for the defective product to be returned. Did both hard reset and soft reset. I called the ISP to have them come to my house and have a look and they bought 2 different modems and they work great (no modem drop). It turned out that I had received a defective product. Thanks to Netgear for wasting 2 days of time. The ISP recommends buying the modem and WiFi mesh router separately, NOT two in one. He also suggested avoiding the Netgear brand as many of their customers face the same problem. After I registered their product for warranty on the Netgear website, they also removed my warranty because I entered the serial number incorrectly, causing further problems and headaches. FYI, my ISP is Grande Communications. Please avoid the Netgear brand for the cable modem! This product is so expensive (a whopping $600) that I expected it to cover a 2 year warranty, not just a 1 year warranty. (Other competitors like Motorola, Asus and Arris give 2 years warranty and they are not expensive) I was so lucky that when I returned to Amazon this device stopped working for me or all my money would have gone down the drain if it did would no longer have worked for me after 1 year of warranty. On top of that they sold me a $120 2 year warranty for a $600 product! Well it's a joke!
