Expensive little treat

I usually use a clothespin to undo pot lids but got this adorable trinket as a stocking because I couldn't justify the price. For reference, I've spent $95 on a scented candle more than once. [Yes, I'm embarrassed, but if you're thinking about buying this, you're wasting your money too.] It spins like crazy on a partially closed pot over a low simmer - that's on a gas stove, where the flame is shooting up of course up. I wouldn't risk a high flame as I would expect it to melt.
