I love the look of this mirror and I love the fact that I can plug it in and not waste endless batteries like I did with my previous lighted mirror. While there are several different settings, I don't find any of them as bright as I'd like. Also, the lights are timed and often go out at least once while I'm putting on my makeup. I hate that. The light sometimes flickers or isn't stable, which is annoying. I feel like it's an overpriced mirror but I'll keep it to myself. I do not recommend it as a gift and I would advise my friends not to buy it. If you're just considering this for looks and a quick makeover, or maybe need 10 minutes to get your makeup ready, then this might be the mirror for you; I just think if that's the case, there's less money to spend.
