Everyone loves these hooks and I really wanted to like them.

To be honest I don't care about plastic hooks. I can say they tried to make them as smooth as possible but they will never be as smooth and fast as aluminum hooks. I don't care about grip either. Because of them I crocheted too loosely. I like the little indentation on the regular hook so you know where to put your finger and thumb. I can't hold her like I've held the hook for the past 57 years! Also, I prefer a built-in hook, like my favorite Susanne Bates, which seems to catch yarn better. With these hooks it feels like I'm doing 3-4 turns before catching my yarn. I used them for a project but will probably never use them again.
