I ended up returning this item as the seller/manufacturer must have tried to hide the buckle mechanism of this sport band. This mechanism has a secondary threaded mechanism which they probably claim makes the strap "more secure" but in fact I've found that this mechanism only ever interferes with the strap being put on. I don't know why these third party manufacturers keep making this type of sports bracelet, it's awful! If you are trying to put the watch on you will need to put the strap through an extra slot before securing it with a metal pin and then sliding it through the extra slot. Attempting to insert it into the second slot to finally secure the watch in place will ALWAYS result in the pin slipping out of the bracelet mesh and eventually making it impossible to put on with one hand.
