You can spend an astronomical amount of money on audio cables and connectors, with diminishing returns the more you spend. However, I was very surprised how well these cables work (sound). The bass from my subwoofer sounded clean, crisp and precise. I could hear the instruments clearly, not just the dirty bass thuds one often hears with bad cables or low-quality subwoofers. I have an Audioquest Jitterbug connected to USB 3.0. I connected an Audioquest USB cable to a Jitterbug and to a Cambridge Audio Dac Magic Plus DAC. From the DAC I have another Audioquest cable (Golden Gate) that goes to a pair of Klipsch bookshelf speakers. From the speakers I ran a Mediabridge subwoofer cable to a Klipsch Reference R-10SW. Yes, there are better systems, but I think the sound is great in my small living room.
