I got this tool after reading some reviews about how it was used to diagnose someone's Christmas deco lights. Yes, it worked for me as well. Before I had this tool, it was very tedious to find where some lights on a Christmas wreath failed. With this tool, you connect the wire, and it would beep till you encounter a bad light, and then you just replace that light, and so on.
