You get what you pay for

Given the bargain price I can't complain, but this handheld video game is pretty much complete crap. First the good: The screen is actually decent, the battery (somehow changeable) holds up well, the case feels good in the hand. The bad side is about everything else. The controls are boring and unresponsive, the software is rubbish (you can't even pause it, it goes straight back to the menu every time it's turned off), there's no SD card slot or other option, an emulation ROM to add, and an included game book is also scrap. The claimed 500 "classic games" are mostly unrecognizable Chinese crap called DRAGON or CUTE FISH, for example, with a small number of unlicensed original NES games, many of which look or play fake (along with bizarre cloned content). like SUPER MARIO 6, a game where you play as a Donald Duck sprite for some reason). Many of these are untranslated and/or undocumented. Enjoying gaming on the device is difficult due to soft keys and input lag, and it's really worth it just for its components. I don't think this is a good choice for dedicated retro gamers or kids.
